Professional Career: Investment Services Specialist, North American Security Life (Now John Hancock)
Born and raised in Salem, MA. 1985 graduate of Salem High School.
Current resident of Swampscott, MA
Married 19 years to Dan Grimes
Mother of 2 daughters; Alison 14 and Jennifer 13
Currently (90% complete) in the process of restoring our home; a beautiful 1895 Victorian

Aside from renovations and raising 2 girls, Val has been involved with the community on many levels:
-Served on the board of the League of Women Voters; as treasurer
-Head of the Hadley Elementary School Yearbook Committee
-Secretary and home Base for Phil’s Fun Run, a local 5K Race to raise awareness for Colon Cancer and Scholarships awarded
-Religious Education Teacher, St. John the Evangelist Church

Most recently, Val decided to open her own Financial Consulting Business and have partnered with greenlifesavor!

Val enjoys time with her family. They love to cross-country ski & ice skate in the winter. During summer, we head to Maine for some swimming, kayaking and fishing.

She also enjoys photography, and would love to take a class someday.
