The Gift
Today I gave "Dannys Boy" to one of the guys I work with as a Christmas present. (To see Dannys Boy go to www.davidpoyant.com .) Including Dannys Boy, that will make over 12 paintings that I have given away as gifts over the past month.
In one way I am being very selfish. When I see the looks of appreciation in their eyes and they tell me how my paintings have touched thier lifes and that of their families, I feel like I am the one receiving the gift.
I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
