Saori originated in Japan. It is an art of weaving that reflects the love and beauty in all things. Artists are free to express their feelings and be true to themselves. There is no right or wrong. It is about the respect that is due to all things in their uniqueness. The imperfections and loose ends make each design special. Some saori are created by one artist while others are group projects.
